Goaltending is the sabres #1 weakness but dont pretend the D is good it isnt. Risto is one of the worst D in the league, Montour isnt made for Ralph's system and Miller isnt either, dahlin has regressed under Ralph as well.

Adams made 2 good moves, hall and staal , his depth options and over pays for girgs and eakins are awful. Lastly he skipped drafting Rossi for the less skilled Quinn

Mark what do you think it would take for buffalo to acquire one of those goalies? Can you give us a trade proposal?

MAF would be a stop gap. they need something long term.
goaltending is in high demand across the league (EDM,CHI,BUF,WSH,etc.)

Really don't know why Wsh is on this list. Would add CAR before them.

Yes, MAF is one year, playoff bound team only stop gap. But aren't the Sabres trying to make the playoffs in order to keep Eichel happy and impress Hall?

Raanta is injury prone. Great when he plays, but you don’t want to trade an asset for a goalie who will play 50% of the games, and only half of those due to injury.

Buffalo should target Georgiev who could likely be had for a pick and a prospect (one of which would have to be pretty decent). Or maybe Anaheim is willing to admit they’re going to suck, and give up Gibson for 3 assets of some variety.

Buffalo's Carter outplayed Philadelphias's Carter -- so you got that going for ya
